A Celebration of Science in Manchester
Manchester Science Festival is back for its seventh year.
A celebration of all things science, one of the highlights this year will be the University of Manchester's Science Spectacular on the 2nd November. Examining the research being carried out at the university, the tour will explore nuclear reactors, laboratory testing like in CSI, nanoscience, sugars, cellular function… a little bit of everything.
Dr. Marieke Navin, Manchester Science Festival Director said: “It is important, now more than ever before, that we engage with science, inspire young people and nurture the scientists of the future. The Festival is an opportunity to bring science to life and encourage young people to be excited by and question the world around them. Just as importantly, however, the Festival is a chance for people of all ages to have fun and explore what science means to us.'
