Leeds Welcomes Ice Skaters to Millenium Square
Dates: 24 January to 23 February, 2014
Leeds' Millenium Square will host the Ice Cube winter attraction later this month opening 24th January. Open daily, the outdoor ice skating experience is accessible for all with a separate nursery rink for children aged eight years or younger. The ice rink also offers penguin skating aids for new skaters.
The Ice Cube also offers tuition over a four week group course as well as individual lesson and also offers a quick stop refreshment counter.

Further Information
Leeds City Council advises that ice skaters should arrive 30 minutes before the session starts to allow time to get ready to take to the ice. Sessions are one hour periods starting at the following times:
Saturday, Sunday and Leeds Schools Half Term (Friday 14 – Friday 21 February):
10.00am, 11.15am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm, 3.00pm, 4.15pm, 5.30pm, 6.45pm and 8.00pm (no 8.00pm session on Sundays).
Monday – Friday (Friday 24 January – Thursday 13 February): 12.30pm, 3.00pm, 4.15pm, 5.30pm, 6.45pm and 8.00pm.
There is an Accessible Session dedicated to wheelchair users and those with disabilities every Thursday at 9.00am.
