Watford’s Big Screen
Please Pass the Popcorn!
On Thursday 20 August, The Big Screen returns to Watford! This is a great summer event that the whole family can enjoy, with a variety of films on show including a collection of everyone's favourite hits and classic cinema treats.
The classic ‘Singing In The Rain’ will open The Big Screen on Thursday night at 8pm. Eighties Friday sees showings of two equally hilarious flicks: ‘The Goonies’ and ‘Ghostbusters’. Smash Hit Saturday will be showing the hysterical and child-friendly blockbuster ‘Shaun the Sheep the Movie', followed by the iconic ‘Dirty Dancing’ and finishing with a viewing of the suspenseful ‘Gravity’. Sing-A-Long Sunday will close The Big Screen with ‘The Little Mermaid’ and Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
The Big Screen is a free outdoor event for the entire family and no booking is required. There is also no seating or refreshments on site, so we recommend bringing rugs, cushions and lots of snacks.
If you’re in the Watford area this weekend and attending The Big Screen we have many parking options available for you to choose from. You can see them all here.
