'For The Love Of Food' Street Food Festival at Millennium Square, Leeds

This weekend, the greatest street food show that the world has ever seen comes to Leeds. Get ready for "For The Love Of Food' at Millennium Square.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday (26th, 27th and 28th September), Millennium Square will be transformed into a street food paradise featuring some of the most mouth-watering vendors from Britain and Europe. To sweeten the deal, entrance to the festival includes tasters of craft beer or cider, specifically chosen to match the multiple menus.

With vendors coming to the festival from Stockholm, Stuttgart, as well as all corners of the UK, attendees to the festival will be able to sample some of the most exciting cuisines in the world from traders such as Buddha Belly from Warwickshire, Fish& from Yorkshire, and Hip Hop Chip Shop from Lancashire amongst many others.

“For The Love Of Food' will also be home to The British Street Food Awards 2014 and the 25 street food masters will be going head to head for your vote to win a much desired award. Some of the categories include:

As well as the public vote, there'll also be a selection of judges to help decide the winners. Judges include Lisa Markwell, editor of The Independent on Sunday, Yianni Papoutis, owner of the MEATliquor restaurants, and Ed Baines, chef and owner of Randall & Aubin.

As well as the all important eating and awards, there's a whole host of fun activities happening throughout. There'll be street food crazy golf, queue-aoke, street art, pop up bars, as well as a range of live music and DJs. There'll even be a special guest appearance from chart topper “Naughty Boy'.

Tickets are £6 for the festival and it'll be open until 22:00 on Friday and Saturday. Sunday closes at 17:00.
