Manchester Picnic returns to Piccadilly Gardens!
Summer is well and truly on the way and the city of Manchester will be celebrating with the return of the Manchester Picnic in the city centre this August.
The picnic is a gathering of food stalls in the Piccadilly Gardens area with just about every cuisine imaginable represented.
The picnic was a huge success last year with over 25,000 people meeting and eating over 3 days. Visitors from all over the world shared the food and fine weather while the Olympics were taking place and you can see the 2012 photo gallery online.
The 2013 event will be the fourth Manchester Picnic and the organisers are hoping that the sun and visitors will both come out for the occasion. The picnic starts on Friday 2 August and runs until Sunday 4 August.
If you’re going to the Manchester Picnic and need somewhere to park, don’t forget that our Dale Street car park is just a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens and you can park there all day for just £5.
Our Manchester car parks are security patrolled and have CCTV in operation 24 hours a day, so Dale Street is a safe place to leave your vehicle while you enjoy the first-class fare on offer.
