What to do on Mother's Day in Leeds
With Mother's Day just around the corner, the ever confusing question of “what shall I do with Mum this Mother's Day?†begins to rear its head.
Luckily, Leeds has some fantastic places to take her on the big day. From resplendent restaurants, to marvellous museums, Leeds has the lot to help make it a truly special day.
We've put together a few of our favourite things to do in Leeds this Mother's Day on the 30th March.
The Electric Press
Located next to Millenium Square in the heart of the Leeds Civic Quarter, The Electric Press is one of the most impressive conversions in the city. Originally built around 1840, it offers a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars with something to suit all tastes.
Situated inside is the trendy champagne bar Epernay, chinese restaurant Red Chilli, as well as Revolution, Spice Quarter, Harry's Bar and Casa Mia. With a beautiful courtyard area and extensive outdoor seating, here's to hoping for a bit of sun!

The Henry Moore Institute
The Henry Moore Institute is one of the most recognised centres for the study of sculpture in the world. Based on The Headrow in the heart of Leeds, it's an award-winning venue featuring exhibitions, research and publications all available to expand the understanding of historical and contemporary sculpture.
Leeds Art Gallery
One of the most visually impressive buildings in the city, the Leeds Art Gallery offers an inspiring and fun visit for all. Known as one having With artwork on display from Rodin, Henry Moore, Jacob Kramer and Dame Barbara Hepworth, you're sure to see some awe-inspiring sights.
Harvey Nichols
If you're visiting Leeds, Harvey Nichols is an absolute must. As well as the shopping experience (don't forget the ever friendly doormen), it's all about the Fourth Floor. After navigating your way through beautiful high-end clothing, you'll find yourself arriving at the stunning Fourth Floor that features a bar, restaurant, marketplace and a Yo! Sushi. Why not opt for the Mother's Day special in the Fourth Floor Cafe, which includes a tasty three course lunch specially created by the Head Chef, Lee Heptinstall, who uses a selection of the the finest locally sourced ingredients.
