CitiPark Launch Party – 28th Jan 2014
We're having a party, and you're invited.
The eagle eyed folk among you may have noticed that a lot has been going on over at CitiPark recently. Firstly, we actually became CitiPark, rebranding from CitiPark at the end of 2014. We've also just completed a £9 million refurbishment of our Merrion Centre & first direct Arena Car Park – so you could say we've got rather a lot to celebrate at the moment!
To mark these two landmark occasions, we're holding a Firework extravaganza on Wednesday, January 28 at the Merrion Centre and first direct Arena car park, located on Merrion Way. The good news is, everyone is invited!
We'll have live music from 6pm, and entertainment will be provided by a host of performers including the Glow Bot and balloon twister. Offers and discounts from leading shops within the Merrion Centre and the Arena Quarter will also be handed out to lucky guests.
Councillor Keith Wakefield, leader of Leeds City Council, will join our managing director Ben Ziff to cut a ribbon to mark the completion of refurbishment work at the car park, before a firework display choreographed to music and the spectacular light show on the car park’s frontage will be the stunning highlight of the event.
Ben Ziff, managing director at CitiPark, said: “Our Merrion Centre car park is our flagship branch boasting nearly 1,000 spaces and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved here.
“There is a real buzz about the Arena Quarter, thanks in no small part to the launch of the new arenaquarter.com website, and the Merrion Centre’s new and improved leisure offering.
“CitiPark is delighted to be able to mark this major investment by holding this event and with the festive season now over this is a great opportunity for people and families to have some fun.”
You can park for free, on us, for the evening between 6 – 11pm. Simply click here to book your space.
We hope you can make it to the Merrion Centre to celebrate with us on the 28th.
See you there!
