Leeds Dock Market returns this January
After the success in November and December, the market returns to Leeds Dock this January for another weekend of dockside stalls, award winning street food and special drinks. This time, it’ll also have a special health kick twist!
Running from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 24th and 25th of January, Leeds Dock will be partnering up with the newly opened Primal Gym bringing health and fitness to the market with special bootcamps that are available to the general public. Leeds Dock is the perfect place to shift all of that Christmas pudding and turkey that was devoured over the festive period.
Primal Gym are offering visitors to get decked out in their sports gear and compete in the ‘Triple Challenge’ for the chance to win one of two free 12-month memberships. The challenge will be running on both Saturday and Sunday so you’ve got two chances to beat your time! They’ll also be providing free health ‘MOTs’ with their experts for visitors who are wondering exactly what shape they’re in.
If you’re not too interested in being healthy and competing with Primal Gym, there’ll be a variety of fantastic stalls to sink your teeth into. With food from the famous Olley&Olley and Ramsden’s Fish, you’ll be in for a treat.
Also on site will be Leeds Juicery, who’ll be providing awesome fresh juices, as well as putting on talks about what you should put into your home juices to make them tastier and healthier.
Leeds’ first coffee roasters North Star Micro Roasters will be at the market selling coffee to go, their own Yorkshire roasted beans and gifts sets containing the finest coffee making gear. If you’re more of a tea drinker, 6teas will also be in attendance talking about their very own premium blends. Based in Huddersfield, 6teas offer a variety of teas including Pina Colada Indulgence and Rooibos and Vanilla, not forgetting their delicious detox tea.
If you’re in the mood for a beer or two, then you’re in the right place. The Ilkley Brewery will be showcasing their Yorkshire brewed, award-winning craft ales for you to try and buy.
The Leeds Dock Market will also have Blonde Fury director Chloe residing from 10am to 12pm each day, showing ladies how to easily achieve new hairstyles with short 15 minute ‘how to’ demonstrations.
Don’t forget that if you’re visiting the market, you can enjoy a trip there in one of the free water taxis that run from 10am – 6pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday taking passengers between Granary Wharf and Leeds Dock.
