Easter Holidays: What to do in Leeds
Schools have broken up and the Easter holidays have well and truly kicked off in Leeds. Luckily there is more than enough happening across the city to keep the whole family entertained during the break.
From easter egg hunts, to arts and entertainment, to cinema trips; there's something for everybody.
Here's a few of our favourite things to do during the Easter holidays in Leeds for the family to enjoy stop the boredom setting in.
Vikings Live at Everyman, Leeds
This Easter, Everyman Leeds are bringing something truly special to the big screen. For one night only, visitors can see the British Museum's awe-inspiring new Vikings Live exhibit on the big screen.
With the chance to learn about one of the most fascinating eras in history and see stunning close-up photography of Viking swords and axes, hoards, jewellery and amulets, as well as a torch-lit burial in the grounds of the Museum.
Presented by members of the British Museum and well-known journalists, see how the Vikings shaped our modern lives. Not to be missed.

Easter Fun At The Tetley
Running up until April 21st, there is something happening for all ages at The Tetley. Basing the theme on old and new technologies, The Tetley offers animated films, robot-making workshops, and letterpress printing activities. The Tetley is the perfect place to take the family this Easter, especially with the launch of the new terrace for open-air eating and a new green space to relax in.
The events end with an exciting Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday, with contestants following clues around The Tetley to collect some delicious chocolate rewards.

Knights: Myths and Magic
Enjoyed by all ages, the Royal Armouries has been one of the most popular attractions in Leeds since it opened back in 1996. This Easter holiday, the Royal Armouries will be showcasing the honour and valour of the Knight with a multitude of ways to get involved. Featuring storytelling, magic shows, crafts and museum trails, not forgetting “Heraldry', a special exhibition of hand-painted coats of arms.
If you're looking for a bit more excitement at the Royal Armouries this Easter, then try out the Falconry Experience as well as the stunt-riding show. If it's an adrenaline rush you're after, then get involved with the incredible live-jousting battle from 19th-21st April.
